Dudley High School and Lincoln Academy Traffic Improvements

Guilford County Schools hired DAVENPORT to improve traffic at the shared campus of Dudley High and Lincoln Academy in Greensboro. With only one access point, congestion and emergency access were major concerns. DAVENPORT designed a new onsite road connecting Lincoln Street to Willow Road, added a separate bus slip lane, reconfigured traffic patterns, and increased stacking capacity to ease congestion. They also secured $100,000 in public funding, covering 77% of Phase 1. The project is now under construction and will significantly improve traffic flow and safety.
