Zach Bush, PWS, LEED AP
Zach serves as the Environmental Director with considerable experience in marine science and environmental planning across the Southeast. He has performed Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analyses, wetland delineations, contamination assessments, biological assessments, tree surveys, seagrass surveys, community resource assessments, traffic noise analyses and environmental report preparation. He has extensive experience with projects involving the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) including recent experience providing environmental documentation for several municipal projects in North Carolina. Zach has used GIS to perform desktop environmental screening of approximately 50 proposed transit stations for commuter rail across three counties in South Florida. His environmental documentation experience includes Categorical Exclusions and Environmental Assessments requiring FHWA concurrence. Zach provides project management for DAVENPORT’s task orders under our existing Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with NAVFAC to provide environmental site assessments and remediation services aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, and MCAS Cherry Point. His duties include conducting limited and comprehensive site assessments, field screening methods, soil and groundwater sampling, assessing and characterizing contaminate sources, and the interpretation of site conditions.
