Frank Amenya, PE, PTOE
Frank Amenya is a seasoned transportation engineer and is responsible for analysis, traffic operations and safety, roadway and traffic signal timing design, data collection, and other transportation related projects. Since his start in the industry in 2000, Frank has supervised and conducted thousands of traffic data collection studies and field investigations. He has experience in transportation impact analysis, capacity analysis, interchange modeling and studies, traffic simulation, roundabout, superstreet and signal warrant analysis, internal circulation and parking studies; developing traffic control plans; traffic signal timing and design.
Frank has performed and reviewed hundreds of transportation impact analyses, signal warrant studies, and capacity analysis reports for very high-profile projects; and he has done transportation safety project and research, including an extensive 24-state FHWA project in 2007. He has prepared traffic impact analyses for all aspects of development including residential subdivisions, school campuses, regional shopping complexes and large mixed-use developments. Frank is accustomed to managing multiple traffic engineering projects while simultaneously managing DAVENPORT’s traffic data collection efforts.
