Ezzeldin Benghuzzi, PE
Ezzeldin Benghuzzi has over 25 years of transportation engineering experience. He has been involved in many aspects of transportation engineering including roadway construction, roadway geotechnical investigation, and roadway design. Ezzeldin’s roadway design experience varies from simple Resurfacing, Restoration and Rehabilitation (RRR) projects to more complex interchange projects. His professional design experience has included projects involving new alignments as well as widening and resurfacing or reconstruction of existing alignments. In association with these projects, Mr. Benghuzzi performed other duties such as developing maintenance of traffic plans, signing and pavement marking plans, utility relocation plans, erosion control plans and provided support for open and closed storm water drainage design, and design of storm water management facilities. Mr. Benghuzzi’s understanding of the latest design software packages allows him to efficiently lead the plans production process. His extensive knowledge of the design standards provides efficient and cost-effective design solutions. Also, he managed several projects and coordinated between different FDOT offices to produce set of roadway plans, these offices included but not limited to Drainage office, Structures office, Geotechnical office, R/W mapping office, Surveying office, Utilities office, Public information office, Construction office, and Maintenance office. Ezzeldin’s extensive work history has involved numerous projects with FDOT Central Office and District 3.
