Sheetz - multiple locations

DTC has provided traffic engineering services for Sheetz at multiple locations:

  • Transportation Impact Analysis, Anita Lane, Guilford County, NC. This proposed Sheetz Development was located on the southeast quadrant of the intersection of US 29 and Anita Lane in Guilford County, North Carolina. The proposed site plan showed one access point on US 29 and another access on Anita Lane. The developer proposed the site to accommodate a 6,000 square-foot Sheetz convenience store with 14 fueling positions. DTC was retained to determine the potential traffic impacts of this development and to identify transportation improvements that may be required to accommodate the impacts of both background traffic and new development traffic.

  • Transportation Impact Analysis, Rockford Street, Mount Airy, NC.  This proposed Sheetz Development was located on Rockford Street in Mount Airy, North Carolina. The proposed site plan showed one access point off Rockford Street at the intersection with McKinney Road. The developer proposed the site to accommodate a gas station with 14 fueling positions, a 6,000 square-foot convenience store, and a car wash with one staff.  DTC was retained to determine the potential traffic impacts of this development and to identify transportation improvements that may be required to accommodate the impacts of both background traffic and new development traffic.
