NC A&T State University Campus Intersection Investigation and Analysis

In 2010 DTC was hired to provide analysis for the intersection of Obemeyer Street at Deck A Entrance/Wimbush Way on the A& T University Campus. Analysis was completed for existing conditions, as well as for future conditions.  The future condition analysis included the new facility currently under design within the vicinity of the Parking Deck A.  The scope of work included traffic counts, collision diagrams developed from University Police accident reports, the review and evaluation of the operation of the parking deck gates, and their effect on the intersection.  DTC has recommended operational, safety and capacity improvements based on this analysis.  Future analysis work is scheduled for the remainder of the campus.
