Gateway Village, Winston-Salem, NC

DTC was retained to perform a transportation impact analysis (TIA) for Gateway Village, a mixed-use development located just south of Old Salem in Winston-Salem, NC.  The project was approved by the Planning Board and the Winston-Salem City Council.  DTC provided intersection design modifications to accommodate additional laneage/revised markings, secured approval of the intersection design modifications, designed and submitted signal plans to the City, and secured approval of the signal plans. Following this approval, the developer, East Coast Capital made revisions to the original plan. Due to these changes, which included  proposed land uses, the City requested that the transportation impact analaysis (TiA) be updated. This project exemplifies DTC's experience related to urban infill projects.
