Mr. Amenya is a Transportation Engineer at Davenport Transportation Consulting has nine (9) years of experience He is responsible for data collection and analysis, traffic operations and safety, roadway and traffic signal timing design, and other transportation related projects. Frank has about four (4) years of international working experience on many traffic engineering and transportation planning studies and has a variety of experience in transportation safety project and research. Mr. Amenya has experience in capacity analysis, traffic simulation, roundabout analysis, superstreet analysis, signal warrant analysis, internal circulation studies, parking studies; developing traffic control plans; traffic signal timing and design. Frank’s project experience includes the following:
- Preparing traffic impact analyses for all aspects of developments including residential subdivisions, school campuses, regional shopping complexes and large mixed-use developments
- Providing expert technical assistance to clients and municipalities in traffic engineering, roadway design and access management for large-scale land planning and land development projects
- Performed and reviewed over one hundred (100) traffic impact analyses, signal warrant studies, and capacity analysis reports for high-profile projects and environment impact statements
- Assisted in preparing roadway and intersection designs and highway safety evaluations
- Provided continuous coordination and support to clients, municipalities, and NCDOT through the entire site plan and driveway permit approval process
- Managed multiple traffic engineering projects while simultaneously providing roadway design and transportation planning support services for internal land development and land planning groups
- Assisted in preparing construction drawings for on-site roadway plans, off-site widening plans, round-about designs, traffic signals, pavement marking and signage plans and site plan submittal packages
- Provided transportation due diligence guidance for land planning projects pertaining to access management, internal street layout and various other site-specific issues
- Supervised and conducted over 180 intersection traffic data collection studies and field investigations
