Food Lion Store Off-site Roadway Improvement Designs, Stokesdale, NC
DTC was contracted to provide a full set of public improvement plans for the construction of improvements associated with a proposed Food Lion store in Stokesdale, NC. These improvements were for the intersectin of Highway 68 at Haw River Road, including accessees off both roads to the proposed Food Lion and several outparcels at the southwest corner. This included a signalized intersectin and a left-over access design into Food Lion off Highway 68. The construction documents included:
- Traffic Signal design plans
- Improvement plans reflecting the geometric design (profiles assumed not required) of necessary widening improvements
- Striping, pavement marking and signing plans
- Traffic control plans
- Standard specification & detail references
- Storm drain design
- Wet utility relocation design (water & sewer)
- Dry utility relocation coordination (gas, electric, telephone & CATV)
- Sedimentation and erosion control design & permitting
- Necessary notes and details
- NCDOT Driveway Permit application and processing
- Obtaining Guilford approvals, as necessary
- Coordinate the preparation and processing of associated right-of-way and easement (dedication) documents
