DTC and Rivers & Associates, Inc. Team Selected for City of Greenville West Fifth Streetscape (Phase II) Project
The City of Greenville Redelopment Commission has selected the Rivers & Associates, Inc. team to develop design and construction documents for a four-block section of West Fifth Street. Rivers & Associates will serve as the lead firm for the team and provide overall project management, facilitate public input, develop project conceptual design alternative including landscape design and hardscape, lighting, site furnishings and planting elements to be incorporated into the final project plans, surveying, oversignt of the design development and construction documentation phases for landscape architectural elements, civil engineering aspects of the design, bid package document and services, and construction administration services. Subconsultant Davenport Transportation Consulting (DTC) will provide traffic engineering and signal design services. DTC staff member Jim Morrison, PE will be our firm's task manager for this project; Frank Amenya, PE, PTOE will oversee the traffic study, and Royal Hinshaw, PE wil perform signal design services.
